Elhadji Ababacar Mbengue has been the Head of HR at Sabodala Gold Operations (SGO) site for 8 years.

He is currently the HR Special Projects Manager; he is supporting the company growth with its multiple jurisdiction in West Africa.

Having worked mostly in the areas of human resources for construction (AIBD Project) and mining companies (SGO / GCO) over 13 years, he is very familiar with human resources overall management.

Ababacar expertise includes areas such as labor laws, employees relations, compensation; employees communication, payroll; Training & Development;
He is particularly experienced in the areas of HR systems and strategic advice to operational managers; directing the administrative functions of complex organizations operating with local communities and developing company culture.

He is passionate about helping businesses make the most of their resources and talent and helping individuals make the most of their job.

Ababacar earned his Master degree in Human Resources from ‘’Institut Superieur de Management (ISM)’’ in Dakar. He also holds a Master in Laws and Political Sciences from Senegal’s University Gaston Berger in St Louis.
