Reiss has held the position of Regional Tax and Compliance Manager for Teranga Gold Corporation since January 2018 being involved in Senegal, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast. From 2013 to 2017, Mr. Reiss was Tax and Compliance Manager for Teranga’s subsidiary in Senegal Sabodala Gold Operations (SGO). Mr. Reiss is a member of the Board of Directors of both SGO and Teranga’s Burkina Faso subsidiary Wahgnion Gold Operations (WGO).

Prior to joining Teranga, Mr. Reiss held various positions as Finance Manager in particular in Africa (Algeria and Gabon) and in Latin America (Mexico and Colombia/Venezuela) in the upstream oil and gas industry (BHP Billiton and Perenco), as well as in manufacturing industries (Groupe SEB and Barry Callebaut). Mr. Reiss started his career as a Financial Auditor at PwC in France. Mr. Reiss holds a MSc in Finance and Management from Cranfield University in the UK. He is a business school graduate (Institut Supérieur de Gestion) and holds a post-graduate accounting degree (DESCF) both obtained in France.
