Yoston Montoya Garcia has worked as a phosphates analyst at CRU, a company specializing in providing market intelligence across the metals and mining industries, since 2014. His work at CRU has spanned the value chain from phosphate rock to phosphate fertilizers, animal feed and industrial chemicals. This has involved several site visits, including Yara’s mine in Finland and Prayon’s manufacturing complex in Belgium, and he will be making further visits while in Senegal. Yoston holds a Masters degree in Food Security & Sustainable Agriculture for which he studied the role of phosphates in the food supply chain.
