Mohamed Dieng is an Attorney with GENI & KEBE, a full service commercial law firm based in Senegal with affiliate offices in 14 countries across Africa.
Mohamed completed his post-graduate studies in Switzerland and has worked for a range of mining clients since 2003. His practice includes advising mining operators in relation to exploration licenses, regulatory compliance, government relations, risk mitigation and environmental approvals, including guiding Guernsey company Toro Gold through the regulatory requirements for permits that led to the discovery of a 1.4 million ounce gold reserve (the Mako Project).
Mohamed is also the author of a comprehensive overview of the West African Mining Sector for the 2015 International Comparative Legal Guide to Mining Law.
